Thank you for your interest in our facility. The Atrium is a fully licensed Personal Care Facility, conveniently located in downtown Johnstown. Our spacious surroundings offer a homelike atmosphere…with the added benefit of individualized assistance available in a supervised setting. We offer an alternative way of life for persons no longer fully able to care for themselves.

A dedicated staff provides care to our residents 24 hours per day. Our Director of Resident Care Services oversees a staff comprised of LPNs, Medication Aides and Personal Care Assistants. An energetic Activities Program addresses the interests of our residents; come smell the aroma of homemade bread being made in the newly constructed "Atrium Café"!  Nothing brings a smile to the face faster than a new hair-style. “Grandma’s Place”, dedicated in memory of one of our residents, has recently replaced our former salon. Office personnel, Housekeeping, Laundry, Dietary and Maintenance staff are on a first-name basis with the residents…it truly is a family atmosphere.

A variety of services can be offered, based on resident assessment. With a physician order, visiting Nurses and Therapists can augment the care already being given. Respite and Hospice are other available services.

As a testament to this statement, in the fall of 2005, we were awarded “Simply the Best” Personal Care Facility 2005 by the Tribune Democrat.
