VETERAN'S ADMINISTRATON BENEFITS

The Veteran’s Administration offers financial assistance to Veterans and their surviving spouses who require the regular “aid and attendance” of another individual. This is the only program available to financially assist a Veteran in an Assisted Living/Personal Care facility.

For those who qualify for the Aid and Attendance (A & A) program, the cost of the facility is considered a medical expense, just like physician visits, medications, etc.
