Embracing Johnstown History With New Renovations

The Atrium, a not-for-profit lively personal care community located in historical downtown Johnstown recently revealed their new renovations during a special Fall Open House event on Tuesday, October 29th. The Atrium has provided caring services to seniors in Johnstown for nearly 35 years. As a not-for-profit organization, The Atrium also recently launched a number of special projects enabling the community to continue its Mission of Caring Through Charity well in to the future.

Recent renovations unveiled during the Open House consisted of new lounge furniture, flooring, signage, additional aesthetically pleasing décor to provide a warm atmosphere for residents, family and friends who call The Atrium home. Along with these new additions, residents and staff voted on their favorite Johnstown landmarks and locations to rename The Atrium hallways, which now are lined with some street lamp posts, provide the residents with essences of being in a neighborhood. The neighborhood names selected were Morley’s Path, Incline Lane, Coney Road, and The Downtowner Dining Room. The Atrium extends an invitation to tour their newly renovated neighborhoods and learn more about their trusted personal support services.
